Mott Hall Charter School was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that every child in the Bronx deserves an exceptional education. Since opening our doors, we have been relentless in our commitment to academic rigor, character development, and family partnership.
We are proud to be a National Blue Ribbon School — one of the highest honors a school can receive from the U.S. Department of Education — and one of only two charter schools in the Bronx offering a self-contained 12:1:1 classroom for students with mandated IEP needs.
Our scholars leave Mott Hall with Regents-level credits, a strong academic foundation, and the confidence to thrive in New York City's most competitive high schools and beyond.

One of the first NYC schools to go fully 1:1, every student has a device for school and can request one for home use.
